From Strength to Strength: Holly’s Progress

The numbers don’t lie. Holly has made massive progress in her lifts, and in just a few months, her hard work is paying off:

Back Squat

🔹 Was: 70 kg × 1
🔹 Now: 82 kg × 3, 75 kg × 6, 70 kg × 7
💥 Estimated 1RM: 90 kg

Front Squat

🔹 Was: 66 kg × 1
🔹 Now: 71 kg × 2

Snatch

🔹 Was: 38 kg × 1
🔹 Now: 46 kg × 1
💥 Target: 54 kg (to hit 60% of her back squat 1RM!)

Clean & Jerk

🔹 Clean Was: 57.5 kg → Now: 62.5 kg × 2 power cleans!
🔹 Jerk Was: 58 kg → Now: 65 kg

Holly isn’t just adding weight to the bar—she’s adding confidence, control, and efficiency to every lift.

The LWSC Effect: More Than Just Strength

Beyond the numbers, Holly’s journey is about more than just PBs. It’s about the environment, the people, and the impact training has had on her overall well-being.

She sums it up best:

“Joining LWSC last October was the best decision I’ve made for both my physical and mental health.”

From the supportive coaches to the community vibe, LWSC has provided Holly with the perfect space to push herself, challenge limits, and become the strongest version of herself. And of course, Nino, the club dog and gym mascot, has played a key role in keeping spirits high. Holly has definitely now achieved Aunty status in Nino’s eyes!

What’s Next?

With the momentum Holly has built, the next few months will be about refining technique, increasing efficiency, and continuing to get stronger.

Goals for the Next Phase:

✅ Hit a 54 kg snatch (60% of back squat 1RM)
✅ Push the back squat towards 95-100 kg
✅ Improve clean & jerk consistency at 65 kg+

With her work ethic and commitment, there’s no doubt Holly will keep smashing her goals.

Final Thoughts

Holly’s story is a reminder that progress isn’t just about lifting heavier weights—it’s about showing up, putting in the effort, and embracing the journey.

From her first squat at LWSC to hitting new PBs, she has proven that dedication, consistency, and a great training environment can lead to incredible results.
